Members have access to the spacious Jazz Archive facility during scheduled opening times to: • Peruse the listing of all archival material either by catalogues or on the computer database. • Listen to selected recorded items, and view Video/DVD material. Members may purchase VJA merchandise from the Archive Shop, including CD's, publications, videos, and VJA logo apparel at discounted prices.
A selection of jazz books, magazines and discographies is maintained in the R.D. Marginson Library, all of which is available for research purposes. |
Members are encouraged to seek specialist assistance on jazz enquiries available from the Archive staff.
Our new Waterfront Café is an ideal place to meet friends or just relax.
Members receive our quarterly newsletter VJAZZ, containing articles and other items of interest related to Australian jazz.
All tours of the Archive are under the supervision of a Tour Guide. Members may join the Archive as Tour Guides to help visitors understand the aims of the Archive, whilst enjoying social interaction.
