Victorians who read the May 2006 edition of RACV's Royal Auto magazine will have noticed a double page spread by caricature artist/cartoonist George Haddon when he had a swinging time at the Echuca-Moama jazz festival early in 2006. In his words: "The Riverboat cruise was nostalgic and the jazz being played was pure magic. The food and the wine were no less than sublime (and the cockatoo choir was fantastic!)"

Thanks to George who is now a convert to jazz, our Secretary Gretel James for suggesting the idea, and our media contact Manager Reg Jennings, the Archive is now the proud recipient of a framed copy of the original caricature drawing depicting some of Victoria's finest jazz exponents of today.
